Signed CDV of “William D. Fuller, Brvt Major, 3 Lt Arty.” Taken in civilian clothing and photographed by G.H. Loomis, Boston, and with cancelled revenue stamp.
Condition is fine.
William Duncan Fuller enlisted as a 2nd Lt. into Battery “C”, 3rd Light Artillery on June 24, 1861. Promoted within the 3rd Artillery throughout the war to 1867 as captain. Transferred to 21st Infantry in 1871, and resigned in 1872. Entered service from Maine. USMA Class of 1861.
