Pooler & Jones Cartridge Holder and Belts Advertisement Trade Card

Pooler & Jones Cartridge Holder and Belts Advertisement Trade Card Circa 1880s. A nice illustrated ad showing the leather belt with attached brass keepers for cartridges.  Many of these belts seen in the market these days appear to be for shot shells, but surely this company made keepers for other and popular hunting calibers.  At the bottom is a place for the maker to sign, “A.B. Jones, Fultonville, N.Y.

On the reverse of the card is a colored lithograph of bird hunters and their dogs , printed by the Chicago Lith & Eng. Co.

Fine condition with light soiling.
