A receipt from the State of Conn. dated 1781 to Gunsmith Elisha Burnham for repair and cleaning of 23 stands of arms.
For cleaning, replacing or making 2 ramrods, repairing locks, and transporting. Signed by Russell Woodridge who charged this amount for services from the Pay Tables. On the other side Elisha Burnham signs the document having received the amount for his services, and signed by the Comptroller, Eleazer Wales.
