The Stackpole Co., Harrisburg, PA, 1956, First Edition, 137 pages, well illustrated. Hardbound black cloth, in fine condition, has dust jacket with wear on edges, some paper loss on upper spine area of jacket. Inscribed and signed by the author, dtd, 1/3/57.
Adopted as the official cartridge of the U.S. Army in 1873, the popularity of the .45/70 began shortly after being used by nearly all major firearms manufacturers in the 19th Century.
