Shako, nicely posed, expertly hand tinted, and the American flag in the background.

I am still in the process of finding more about this piece.  I know I have seen it before in magazine or book format. Hoping to identify the subject.

Its hard to fault the image in any way, other than the most minimal wear and that which is common to all tintypes.
