Description
Traveling Pens & Ink Well In Composition Case. This type of writing kit with its composition paper (etc) case, holds two brass writing ink pens and a small bottle of ink. Some time these are found with feather quill pens or some other crude wooden pen that would hold a nib.
5 3/4 inches high. (case closed).
One of the two pens is without a nib. The one with the nib is telescopic in nature. The ink bottle lacks the small cork.
Overall in fine condition considering its age and material used for the case. A great item for the Civil War era display.
