Union Volunteer Refreshment Saloon- Illustrated Card & Cover To Secretary.

The cover was addressed to the Secretary of the Union Vol. Refreshment Saloon, Joseph B. Wade (listed on card), and has a black CDS WILMINGTON, DEL / SEP. 18, with a round grid cancel on a 3 cent stamp; address (the above) “Foot of Washington Street, Phil.”  Has tape repair on upper left.  Clean otherwise.

The illustrated card has views of the Saloon with a great military scene, etc., and on the other side, the hospital with another military scene. Inside is the list of officers, committee of gentlemen, and committee of ladies.  The other side is pretty much there credo, and a brief history.

Condition overall is fine.
