Description
This pair of insignia were worn on the saddle cloth of a commissary of subsistence department officer. They were made by the GREENWOOD CO. DETROIT. The color is a grayish silver and would have been worn on the khaki colored field saddle cloth (as the dress would have been a polished silver). They were sewn to the cloth using the three cast loops on the reverse of each of these insignia.
50mm widest.
Excellent condition. A scarce insignia in pairs.
