WWI American Field Service Poster, printed by “MERCHANTS – CHICAGO.”
Artist signed, but can’t totally make it out (see photo).
The scene is of a driver looking for either his sick or wounded or trying to find his way in the darkness; flares going off in the sky behind him.
Measures 22.5 x 34 inches overall.
Very good – fine condition; folded several times with one small hole at middle/center fold. Corner torn away.
Any markings in our images are most likely glare from the light while photographing.
