Army Transportation Corps Armband -SOLD

Description

U.S. Army Transportation Corps brassard or armband, made of brick red wool with applied yellow lettering.  Worn by officers (perhaps other TC personnel) at Ports of Embarkation where any military materiel was moving out by ship, train, or other.  A safety pin would have been used to keep this in place on the arm.

4 inches wide.

All original and in excellent condition.
