Civil War Era Dug Eagle Flag Staff Finial.
Dug in Western Massachusetts site. Bronze metal eagle standing 5 3/4 inches. The talons are perched on the upper half of the sphere. Wing and body feathers are well defined and now have a nice untouched patina.
Makes for a great display piece in the dug relic collection.
