Civil War Issue .36 Caliber Revolver Cartridge Box. This box, smaller version of the .44 Caliber boxes, is made in the same format with leather compartment inside to hold ammunition packets. Stamped on the leather of the inner box, “Made By J.I. Pittman.
Some crackling of leather on the bend of upper flap area, and on the edges of flag and belt loops. A nice honest example.
