Cabinet Photo of Canadian Champion Rifle Team of the World – 1901. This is one of four photographs that came together and I am offering separately all taken by photographers Goldberg Brothers, Newark, N.J.  This image has the name Bower on the back, which ties ownership to this Captain from Rhode Island, his team being the first two of these four listed.

The Canadian Team has the distinction of have the signature of all the members.  They are all wearing their Mounties style campaign hats, and some wear medals.  These twelve nearly all have signed along with there unit designations. I have not researched them.

On the back is a good deal of period news clips about this event, having taken place at Sea Girt, New Jersey, and winning the Palma Trophy.

5 x 8 inches image size, and 10 x 12 inch mat size.

Very good with a corner damaged, and a stain that does not detract.
