Indian Wars Era Enlisted Infantry Overcoat & Cape. Model 1885 overcoat in a medium blue with dark blue lined cape for infantry. Double row of  6 general service buttons, and a single row of 6 on the cape. Hook and eye at the throat of coat and an attached chain at the back neck area for hanging. Brass hooks hold the detachable cape in place when worn. Marking in the right sleeve, hard to read, but this one from a state arsenal, although federal pattern through and through.

Very little damage or wear to the wool.  Camera flash bulb does wash out some of the color.
