Model 1860 Colt Army Revolver – Martially Marked, serial number 92537, and manufactured in 1863. A nice untouched Colt Army made in 1863. Martial markings on barrel, cylinder, backstrap, trigger guard, both sides and bottom of grips. Overall a pleasing light grayish-brown patina with some blue showing up under the barrel, and light case on the frame and loading lever.
Grips show light even wear, with both inspector cartouches visible. Cylinder scene is very good +, and some very light pitting in some sections, more seen at the muzzle. Mechanically sound and excellent. The wedge is a replacement.
No exact historical ties, but close to numbers issued to the Loudoun County Rangers, a Virginia unit that fought for the North.
