Civil War Bridle Leather NCO’s Shoulder Rig for M1840 Sword

Civil War Bridle Leather NCO’s Shoulder Rig for M1840 Sword.  An original accoutrement for the NCO Model 1840 Sword. This shoulder sling holds the sword only (without bayonet slot).

Leather is in fine condition with typical wear along edges, etc.  The M1828 plate is unmarked and is in fine + condition.  No makings on the leather.  A small area of separation of threads at backside frog extension (see photo).
