1865 Ordnance & Ordnance Stores for 9th Vermont Infantry. This Company D was commanded by Captain Asaph Clarke on 23 June, 1865. The document records all the weaponry and accoutrements of this unit turned in including 70 Enfield Rifles, bayonets, leather accoutrements, tools, musket parts, cartridges, etc.   All this was received by the LtCol. commanding, V.G. Barney.

This regiment saw service in Virginia, North Carolina, and back in Virginia in 1864, Chaffin’s Farm, and Fair Oaks.
