1874 Waist Belt & U.S. Buckle – SOLD

This is a decent example of the Army 1874 waist belt and plate. The leather has been treated to prevent any further flaking of surface leather and would be ideal for using in a display. Only faint inspector stamp on the back side of leather near the keeper; also there is an adhered paper size label “36.” The leather slide is present.

The buckle has a great patina, with original arsenal polished surface, now showing a wonderful age patina.
