First Year of Issue 1885 Sharpshooter Badge With Re-qualification Bar.

Description

A rare badge with a re-qualification bar (with first date, same as the badge issue) for “1885 – 90- 94.” The brooch has the early “T” bar pin.  Silver metal, with no markings, but made at Rock Island Arsenal. Obviously this re-qualification bar was added in 1894 or shortly after.

This badge is missing the open catch, otherwise in fine condition.
