1890s Virginia 4th National Guard Officer’s Forage Cap – SOLD

Spanish War era Virginia 4th National Guard Officer’s Forage Cap,  with applied bullion 4th Infantry officer’s insignia, and Virginia State buttons. Bullion chin strap.

Size is approximately a 6 3/4.

Condition is overall very good; Some mothing and tracking (see photos).

The lining shows wear, both black cotton, and sweatband which likely was replaced or resewn.

No ID.

Displays very well.  Great period hat.
