Description
1902 Era Japanned Saber Snap Swivels. Japanned or brown lacquered swivels for attaching to the leather saber hangers. These were intended to allow the saber to have a quick release, and would also put less stress on the leather.
These 2 swivel snaps are very close in condition, with one having a little less very light surface rust. Will clean up with some oil.
Not so easy to find these days.
Very good – fine condition.
