1912 Era Army Officer Shoulder Knots in tin made by Wm. Horstmann Company, Philadelphia.  The dress straps have the color silk Horstmann label applied on the bottom of each knot, and bot knots have their 1912 rimmed eagle buttons. The tin has most of the original japanning had have an applied metal company plate on the lid.

Inside, which is seldom seen, is an original printed instruction sheet by the company entitled, “To Adjust Shoulder Knot.”

The gold bullion knots are in excellent condition showing little wear. They still have the screw post for the buttons which are usually sewn down on the coat.

A nice set, ready to go.
