Description
A beautiful cap that has been superbly preserved, and most excellent for any collection. The maker is ARMY AND NAVY CO-OPERATIVE COMPANY.
The wool overall show but a couple very tinny moth nips (I only found one, so through another in for fudge factor). The russet color leather visor and chinstrap have a few small scuff marks. The lining interior is very good with just a few stitches broken on the plastic diamond crown shield in a few places, and there is some tearing, almost from a stretching and some sweat stains overall. The size label is intact (size 6 ¾ ).
The officer’s cap eagle and side button show no wear, a cap that would be hard to improve on.
