Description
The 2nd West Virginia Volunteers were mustered into federal service from June 25 to July 9, 1898. The regiment and the soldier from Company “K” who wore this badge, did not go to Cuba, or occupation duty.
The condition is excellent and a scarce piece is it with the unit designation incorporated into the enamel work of white with red lettering.
22mm hight and pin back. No maker hallmark.
Fine – excellent condition with just a small chip in the stem.
