Description
Bailey, Banks, & Biddle (Philadelphia), Model 1905- WWI era Cavalry Officer’s Collar Insignia. Maker stamped on the back, “BB& B. / BRONZE.” Quality jeweler made piece with pin bar and locking ring.
Untouched bronze finish, just showing natural wear to the darker bronze finish for service dress use. Patina on the reverse side suggests this piece was never gilt insignia. This pattern crossed 1902 sabers, adopted in 1905 and worn through the WWI period, until the very early 20’s.
