Boar War Copeland Tyg Commemorating The Transvaal War 1899-1900

$850.00

Boar War Copeland Tyg Commemorating The Transvaal War 1899-1900. This fine piece of Copeland Tyg, is simply a porcelain drink cup with two or more handles. This one commemorating the Transvaal or 2nd Boar War, was made shortly after this conflict in South Africa. There are three wonderfully colored panels, including one of Queen Victoria, one of the field marshals, and  Britannia and a miner.

Very busy in color, figures, etc.  Best to view the images rather than my attempting to describe them.

Made by “T. Goode & Co. London” Copeland, England.”  It is without flaw.
