Business Card, Soldiers’ Studio, 50th Iowa

Soldier Photographers on Co. A. Street of the 50th Iowa Regiment

I not totally sure about what we have here, but if the visual is the obvious then these two, Bryant & Barr, may be soldier photographs who set up on the Company A street (in the camp of ) the 50th Iowa Regiment. Not much doubt about the period with “Cuba Libra.”

The 50th Iowa were called into federal service, leaving Des Moines for Jacksonville, FL in May of 1898, and left the later in September for the return trip to Des Moines.

Light staining, and no other history.  Approximately 2 1/2 x 4.  In fine condition.
