Cabinet photo of Veteran’s of the 27th Connecticut Vols at Gettysburg. The cabinet was taken by the famous Gettysburg photographer, W. H. Tipton.  The image goes a bit weak as it rising in the background. An enhanced photo reveals more detail in the background view. Veterans stand in front of the monument that likely was raised in July 2, 1883.  The reverse shows the Tipton’s backmark, and the note, “27th C.V. Monument Gettysburg.
