Cased Sterling Traveling Knife and Fork.

Description

High quality cased fork & knife traveling set made entirely of sterling silver with mother of pearl grips.  The utensils are well marked with City of London hallmarks, the letter date being 1899. Makers initials are JN.

Extremely well made, and showing little use, the set is rests in a purple lined leather cover wood case.  The color of the leather in real life appears to be more of a darker brown red, rather than the striking red from the flash.

The F & K are 5 1/2 inches approximately.  Ideal for use by a traveling gentleman or officer at the turn of the last century.
