CDV – Lt. General Winfield Scott.

Posing in his fine dress uniform when worn at the early part of the Civil War, as commander of the U.S. Army, the aged old soldier had served as a general officer from 1814 to 1861.

His last years were spent at his residence at West Point, where is died in 1866.
