CDV Of Judge Advocate General Joseph Holt. A member of the James Buchanan administration instrumental in convincing the president to oppose secession of the South; Holt was the chief prosecutor of the many conspirators trails that were involved in the Lincoln assassination.
His last name is written in pencil in the hand of Robert Patterson.
