CDV – Unidentified Officer From Major William Horner’s (Cole’s Cavalry) Archive.  This bust shot of an officer was part of the Horner archive that I sold about two years ago.  I thought at first it may have been a relative, as I has others, but did not identify him.  Cole’s Cavalry was also known as the Potomac Home Brigade Cavalry.

Photographed by Marken’s Gallery, Frederick, Md.. Most of the images from Cole’s cavalry I have observed are taken in the Frederick, Md area, and up toward the Gettysburg area where the Horner’s lived.
