Description
This is the first CDV I have owned of a soldier holding his percussion Hall Musket. Taken in Elmira, New York by A.P Hart, is this young soldier in state uniform cradling his Hall with bayonet affixed in a standing portrait. Studio painted backdrop.
Condition if fine with some clipped corners.
A scarce image of a musket that saw virtually little service in the Civil War.
