Description
Civil War Cartridge Box Plate- Found At Hooker Georgia, in dug-relic state. This item (and an eagle plate listed on this site) were de-acquisitioned from The Mattatvck Historical Society, and originally donated by the Woman’s Relief Corps – G.A.R. The photo of the tag does NOT come with this lot, but with the eagle plate. This plate has a nice brass patina, and is complete with the iron mounting loops.
Hooker, Georgia is a short distance southwest of Chattanooga, TN, just below the border.
