Description
This excellent one line New York address ’49 Colt Pocket revolver was made in 1873. A 5 shot, .31 caliber revolver serial number 331585, with all numbers matching (no number on lever, which is correct for this model, with no numbers on lever, nor the barrell wedge after 1864). The 4 inch barrel and cylinder retain most of the original blue finish, and complimented with most of the original case colors on the frame, lever and hammer. A few Brass backstrap and trigger guard, (standard on this model), with an untouched patina. Walnut grips are excellent and retain most of the original varnish.
Stage coach holdup scene on cylinder strong, and mechanics are excellent. Bore is excellent.
A great example of one of the last percussion guns produced by Colt, with many of these having Western usage.
