Description

This unnamed “Ike” was worn by an Army Correspondent attached to the Allied Troop Carrier Command. His pin-back ribbon bar is misaligned with the Purple Heart last, the EAME and Good Conduct placed first.  The EAME has an Invasion arrowhead, and 4 campaign stars.  A Presidential Unit Citation ribbon bar is mounted over the right pocket.  Air Corps and US discs on collars.

The English mad correspondent’s patch in in fine condition. I thought about removing this patch briefly due to the numerous moth holes (most small in nature with most on one cuff), and wear to the jacket, but left that up to the next collector.  No hint who this was.  The Allied Troop Carrier patch is English made as well, but shows heavy wear.

Component wise, the value is easily in what I’m asking as is.
