Description
Per regulations, the general officer’s hat cord for campaign hat was to be of solid gold bullion thread. The acorns tassels and cording is typical for this period of 1880s- 1900 period.
Condition is fine, with a few small areas of fraying. Color has toned, but evenly and has a great look. The netting around the acorn shells, and center slide are fine as well.
Not commonly found.
