Description
Gorgeous 1912 General Officer’s Full Dress Cap, made by Hardings Army & Navy Store, Boston. The gold bullion is bright and done using high relief work on the eagle particularly. Dark blue wool body in excellent condition. Side buttons are the 1912 rimmed eagle as expected. The visor is patent leather.
The sweatband and lining are fine showing little use. No sizing label but approximately a 7. The Harding label is hard to read, but in good light legible.
Condition is excellent, and the only flaw is some light mildew staining that will clean up on the top of the cap which is very faint.
This is the best 1912 GO cap we have had.
