Late 18th Century Doctors Lancets/ Bloodletting Set In Engraved Silver Case.

Later 18th Century Doctors Lancets/ Bloodletting Set In Engraved Silver Case. This small engraved silver hallmarked case contains six lancets with blades marked “Evans / Old Change / London,” and held within tortoise shell cases. The blade show little to no wear, or at best maintained to the ninth degree.  Small hallmarks are stamped on the inside lip of the opening and just below on the case proper. The case hinged and held in place with a snap button. The engraving is mostly floral in nature.

3 inches high, by 1 5/16 at the wides point.
