Martial Sheet Music – Spanish Retreat Quick Step 1841, Published by Henry Prentiss, Boston. The soldier depicted is a member of the Hancock Light Infantry, wearing a “stove pipe” shako, presumably made by John Baker of Boston.
An example of this headgear can be seen elsewhere on this site. (The two piece are unrelated).
Condition is fine; pulled some time ago from a sheet music album. Some light toning, and most suited for framing.
