Original  Silver Hancock’s Corps – 1st Division Badge.  Hancock’s or First U.S. Veteran Army Corps badge, adopted in May of 1865.  This badge is made of silver without engraving. Having a red wool center for the 1st Division.  A “T” bar pin with open catch on the back, and no markings.

1 3/4 inches high.  Worn on either the forage cap or the uniform.

Toned silver with light wear.
