A pair of 1851 pattern artillery lieutenant colonel shoulder straps in great shape.
This pair of artillery lieutenant colonel’s shoulder straps are 1851 regulation size, 1 3/4 x 4 inches. Made of fine gold bullion border work, with gilt fine twist wire accents, and silver bullion oak leaves on red wool.
The straps are open in the back, exposing a glossy black paper, with rough stitching over it pulling black wool lower body together.
Very good – fine condition with very slightest of moth tracking, and hard to see at that. Some age toning on the bullion overall.
