Scarce Box For Early Indian Wars Cavalry Officer’s Sword Belt.  M1872 Cavalry officer’s sword belts are scarce, and likely these boxes are even more so.  Thin cardboard material, covered in black paper overall (not bottom), with light green trim.  The is printed on either toned white or tan colored paper with black border.

Written on the bottom, “Army Saber Belt  / Fathers Army buttons / Sa…..”  Some seams open, but not in jeopardy of falling apart.  8.5 L x 3 3/4 W x  3 1/4 H.
