Description
Souvenir Chromolitho Card – Libby Prison War Museum. This well know Civil War Confederate prison located in Richmond, Va. was removed to Chicago, in 1889, and housed a Civil War museum. A brief history of the prison is found on the reverse side of the card.
In the illustration, Libby Prison is visible behind the castle walls.
Color is original and was always this subdued color.
3.5 x 5.5 inches approximate.
Condition is fine with some creasing on the corners, and light age toning.
