Spanish American War Medal Grouping – Co. D 2nd Massachusetts Infantry,  Identified to Private George Burckard.

The group consists of his numbered Spanish Campaign Medal, “MNo. 1028, and Cuban Occupation Service Medal, “6468.”  Included are his MVM First Class Marksman 1896, Sharpshooter 1897, and USV Sharpshooter 1898 medals.

There are photocopies of his records of enlistment, and downloaded brief history of the regiment in the SAW.

Fine condition overall.

These medal sold in 2003 for just under what I am asking now!
