Very good condition, no dust jacket, fading to spine color and lettering. A tight usable copy, with light wear, appears to be mostly shelf life.

Bold signature of Walter Prescott Webb on inner fly leaf, private bookplate inside cover.

A well research history covering the history of the rangers from the early days of the republic, to the 30’s; also has a chapter on Captain Frank Hamer, the ranger who brought down Bonnie and Clyde.
