Description
Working Khaki Coat , a coat worn by officers from 1925 to 1941 (the black stripes deleted from regulations in April of 1941). The 3/4 inch wide ribbon are sewn on, and represented awards are the Navy Distinguished Service WWI Victory (w/1 star), Navy Expeditionary, and Companion of the Order of the Bath (UK) medals. Above those are high relief two toned bullion Navy aviator wings. The coat is in excellent condition, and has a hole on the back, and a small stains upper back right shoulder. There is a tear to the lining inside left breast. Made by (or for) A.H. Dondero, Inc. Washington, D.C.
