WWI Era U.S. Army Campaign Hat, Signal Corps Cords SOLD

A Great Hat With A Personal Touch

Contact Us About This Product

This WWI era campaign hat is in fine + condition with an enlisted man’s Signal Corps hat cords applied. The wearer sewed down the cord tassels to the brim so that would not slide around; either he was concerned how he looked, or was bugged by floppy cords dancing about above. The cords are also gathered in and sewn directly to the body of the hat to keep the cords in place all around.

The sweat band is very nice condition, no sizing label, but would say a size 7. There are a few very tiny areas of mothing, and you have to hold the hat in a certain way in the light to see them. You may not have noticed if I didn’t mention it.

Great hat with a personal touch.
