Description
CDV Of 2nd Lieutenant Charles W. Wilkins 24th New Jersey Volunteers, photographed by Weisman, Philadelphia. The photo was taken in studio with Wilkins wearing his frock coat, sword belt and sash.
He enlisted into Company “E” 24th New Jersey Infantry in September of 1862, and mustered out on June 29, 1863, being with the regiment at the battles of Fredericksburg and Chancellorsville.
Very good condition, with clipped corners.
