Extremely Rare – 1884 U.S. Sharpshooter’s Cross.
Approximately 1000 of these crosses made at Rock Island Arsenal, being the Model 1884. A bronze cross with three ring target at the center. Pin back with open catch.
In 1885, the army issued these sharpshooters badges suspended from a pin bar, and could be adapted to add re-qualification bars.
This badge is 34mm wide.
